We all know the transformative power of music! Music moves us, inspires, brings people, their voices and prayers together, and helps our hearts to feel! Our gratitude for the many gifts we’ve received comes alive in our willingness to serve others through our gifts. Music ministry is a way to express the musical sound of “thank you” within our community for God’s gift of one another.
You don’t have to have sung in a choir before, just carry a melody and be curious enough to see how rewarding singing in a choir
can be!
5pm Saturday Liturgy Choir – usually a smaller group of singers
Rehearsal: 4pm in the church, just before the mass
Requirements: Basic singing ability
8am Sunday Liturgy – for cantors, or more seasoned singers
Rehearsal: 7pm-8:30pm, Tuesday evening in the church
Requirements: more seasoned singers, or current singers in our ministry
10:30am Sunday Liturgy – larger group of singers (currently live-streamed)
Rehearsal: 7pm-8:30pm, Tuesday evening in the church
Requirements: ability to carry a tune, we’ll help with the rest
Cantor – lead the music at any of our liturgies
Rehearsal: 7pm-8:30am, and/or based on schedules of the cantors
Requirements: confident leadership and musical skills, supported through our ministry
